Sorry for a long gap, but I am proud to announce that I got my Grade Four piano, I was amazed, but enough practice got the result! Busy summer of gigs, and some song writing, the Flinch 5 Tantrums EP will be ready soon! It has taken far too long, but....Also enjoyed reading Bill Bruford's autobiography. Didn't agree with all his statements, but an interesting and informed read.

Sorry for delay, but here are some 2009 news. Firstly, two new CDs out. First one is an EP of drum solos, and a drums and bass track, called DRUMTRAX. The second CD is Peripherie's first best of CD, called OCTAVE. It has tracks from the first three CDs, as well as some unreleased studio and live tracks. DRUMTRAX is £4.00 inc p and p, OCTAVE is £6 inc p and p. Both CDs together are £8, including p and p. Gigs will be announced shortly, we are playing in the Brighton area to start with! Lastly I have a new kit, a Tama Starclassic b/b. Superb sound and the quality of fittings, looks etc, is well, superb!"

Saw Steve White do a great drum clinic, what a player, great hands!! Thinking about Grade Four piano, and have promised myself to get better at Cubase. New band, more details later, have left Cirque De Soul a long time ago, will record some new tracks in the summer. Very inspired by Jo Jo Mayers DVD, Secret Drum Tecnique, superb info on hand/finger technique. Will try playing the Pizza at some point...

Flinch has almost finished demo, and a confirmed gig in Brighton is at the Horse and Groom Pub, Islingword road, Brighton(Elm Grove area) on the the 8th of May(Friday) at 9pm!
